Looking for an experienced plasterer to complete two small jobs in my kitchen: 1. Install plasterboard to close the open gap above the kitchen cabinetry/bulkhead area. The timber framing is already in place. Finish joints and make it ready for painting. 2. Extend the existing cornice on one side of the kitchen cabinetry towards the wall and complete the corner neatly, matching the existing cornice profile as closely as possible. Please include materials, plastering/jointing and sanding in your quote. Painting is not required. Photos attached for reference. Looking for a neat, professional finish. Looking for someone experienced to help us install new cornice in our apartment in Glen Iris. We have approximately 35m of 80 x 80mm lightweight polymer cornice to install across the living/dining area, kitchen and laundry. The existing pelmets will already be removed before the job. There will also be 2 extra sets of hands available to help with holding the cornice, measuring, passing materials etc. We mainly need someone experienced to take the lead with measuring, cutting/mitres, joins and installation. We’ll supply the cornice and can purchase the required adhesive/filler based on your recommendation. Looking for someone who has previous experience installing cornices or a similar product and can get the corners and joins looking neat. Please let me know your experience when making an offer. Photos of similar work would be great if you have them.
