Repair Sega Dreamcast Mothboard

$300

VIC, Australia

1st Sep 2026

Hi, I have an unused SEGA Dreamcast. Completely untouched & unused new old stock from the year 2000. Turned it on and there is no video output from the machine... audio works. I had a game console technician look at it though he doesn't know the circuitry of the board. Video DAC on the board was replaced and that didn't work. Need someone who is proficient with these boards to fix it please. Thanks, Jason V

Firmware Downgrade for HP Officejet Pro 8600

$80

Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia

15th Aug 2026

Hi there,I need an IT technician or experienced computer hobbyist to downgrade the firmware on my HP Officejet Pro 8600 (Model N911a) printer.Due to HP's recent automatic updates (dynamic security), the printer is blocking my third-party/compatible ink cartridges. I need the firmware rolled back to an older, working version that allows the use of non-HP ink.My Setup:Printer: HP Officejet Pro 8600 (N911a).Computer: Windows PC (connected to the same local network/USB).Requirements for the Tasker:You must locate and provide the correct, clean, older legacy HP firmware file (e.g., an older .exe file or .rfu package) since HP has removed them from their public site.Safely push the old firmware to the printer via Windows.Disable the printer's "Auto-Update" and "HP Cartridge Protection" settings once completed so it doesn't upgrade itself again. Please let me know if you have successfully done an HP firmware rollback before or have access to the legacy firmware repository. Thank you!

Configure UniFi WAN for new NBN connection

$250

Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia

6th Aug 2026

Experienced onsite network/UniFi technician wanted to migrate an existing rack-managed network to a new Superloop NBN HFC service. Equipment onsite: • NBN HFC connection box/NTD with 2.5G Ethernet output • UniFi Dream Machine Pro / Pro-class gateway (current WAN appears connected to a legacy Nokia fibre handoff) • UniFi switches, patch panels, existing Wi-Fi/APs and Ethernet wall ports • Nokia legacy fibre handoff and Huawei carrier equipment • Hikvision CCTV Scope: 1. Inspect and identify the correct UniFi gateway WAN port and cable path. Check whether the regular RJ45 WAN (likely port 9) is appropriate for the service speed or whether SFP+/RJ45 is needed. 2. Back up/export or photograph the current UniFi WAN/Internet settings before changes. 3. Configure WAN IPv4 to DHCP/IPoE (automatic IP), DNS automatic initially, no PPPoE credentials and no VLAN unless Superloop confirms one is required. Do not change the LAN DHCP configuration. 4. Connect the NBN HFC box directly to the UniFi gateway WAN, using the patch panel/cabling only if necessary. Do not connect NBN directly to the switch or put the supplied router in between/double NAT. 5. Confirm the internet connection and WAN IP, LAN, Wi-Fi/APs, representative wall ports and Hikvision CCTV (including existing access) remain operational. 6. Power-cycle the NBN box/gateway safely if needed. No factory resets. 7. Label the disconnected legacy WAN cable “old Nokia WAN” and document the final ports/settings and any disconnected equipment. Leave Nokia/Huawei equipment powered unless confirmed safe to disconnect. Please bring Ethernet patch leads and a cable tester. Bring a suitable SFP+/RJ45 adapter only if inspection indicates it may be needed; confirm any extra hardware cost before purchase/use. Please describe your UniFi, NBN and network-rack experience and availability. Expected duration is about 1.5–2 hours onsite; please get approval before extra work or cost.

Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia

22nd Jun 2026

My internet service is working, however the wall phone/internet socket is damaged and very loose. Current Situation * Internet service itself is working. * Modem/router is operational. * Connection drops only when the cable/socket is disturbed. * Appears to be an older telephone/DSL style socket. * Photos attached. Looking For * Registered cabler preferred. * Experience with NBN/telephone/data cabling. * Please include availability and total cost including parts.
