I need to set up a computer lab with 30 systems connected with each other under one local server. With all permissions and user accounts setup in those systems and privacy firewall configured. - Due date: Flexible

Seagate model SRD00F2, an external hard disk has stopped working. When connecting, the computer won't detect the hard drive. This hard drive model needs to be plugged into power when connected to a laptop or computer. I have tried the following steps to make it work but no luck: 1. Changed the power adaptor to a new one, still when plugged in i don't see the light. 2. Removed the hard disk from the panel and connected to a CPU (Desktop) and booted up the machine. The machine still couldn't detect the hard drive. 3. Wrapped the hard drive in thick airtight bags and made sure no moisture inside the wrapping and froze it for about an hour. Tried to connect the hard disk when it was freezing cold. Still no luck. Need help to get the hard disk working and to retrieve the data stored in it. - Due date: Flexible
