I used to have a tough pet stain on my wooden floor. I tried to clean it by soaking with hydrogen peroxide which removed the stain but in the process also stripped the wood finish and cause the patch to appear much lighter than the rest of the floor. I then tried to sand down the area and apply a light coat of wood stain but the colour still doesn’t match exactly.
