Ground floor garage can be used as work site Deck is 20.4m square The hardwood slats (140 x 19) have rotted and need replacing with fresh merbau. (146 lineal meters) Joists are ok and don’t need replacing. Tricky bits involve… placing timber under hot water tank and air conditioning unit. Cutting a gap around cladding structure so as to allow new flashing material to be installed. Carrying timber up 3 stories to rooftop deck. This will be a limiting factor in terms of lengths (in a townhouse staircase, carrying 2.5ish meter timber is max length allowable). This is NOT a simple assembly job, the cabinets must also be secured to my timber floor. The Task: Assemble the 3 METOD base cabinets. Anchor the Island: Devise and build the solution to firmly anchor the cabinets to the floor so the island is stable and will not move or tip. This will likely involve building a timber frame that is bolted to the floor, which the cabinets are then attached to. Install & Level: Install the 3 cabinets onto the anchored base, ensuring they are perfectly level and joined together. Fit Internals: Install all internal fittings: All drawers and doors All internal shelves 1 x pull-out garbage bin system Alignment: Ensure all doors and drawer fronts are perfectly aligned. Finish: Cut and fit the IKEA plinth (kickboard) around the base for a clean finish. Please Note: This job is for the island base and cabinets only. The benchtop will be installed separately. We require a skilled and qualified cabinet maker/carpenter/builder with a high attention to detail to complete the finishing touches on our kitchen renovation (and small bathroom vanity). There are 2-3 days worth of work. This includes fixing and aligning panel fronts, sanding and oiling a few missed panels, fitting floating shelves and securing the plywood bench top. We have all of the missing pieces, hardware and oil. We are looking for an honest person who we can rely on, trust, and who will take their time to complete the job to a high standard.

Need a carpenter to install 6 sheets of 2440x1200x4mm ply bracing to a wall frame tomorrow. Needs to be done first thing in the morning. We have the ply. Just need labour with a circular saw, a nail gun and nails to install.

Hi, need some basic carpentry help in Northcote please. 1. Lay quad/quarter round in a 3.7 x 3.7m room on 3 sides as per image. The quad is already painted, it will need to be measured (noting a slight drop on the floor), cut at 45 degrees as needed and nailed down between trim and carpet, also adding 45 degree end caps at door opening etc where marked in blue on the room plan. 2. There are 8 wardrobe cuboard doors in the 2 front rooms and 6 of them drag on the new carpet when opening, so they need to be removed from their quick release hinges, planed/sanded/cut a few mms off the bottom without splintering or ruining the paint on the front, then re hanged. It's a little fiddly lining up the 3 hinges to get them hanged again. 3. Quick one, another room has 4 raised wardrobes and just want to install some angle L brackets up the top to fix them against the wall for safety. I have bought the brackets and have a ladder to get up there. Will need your own table saw, nail gun, drill. etc. I have a big back garage to work in (as per pic) but the house has been cleaned for tenants and needs to stay that way please. House is currently empty and there's a lock box for easy access. Thanks!
