Looking for an experienced carpenter/cabinetmaker in Melbourne inner suburbs to adjust a fridge cavity. Photos show the overhead cupboard, fridge and the infill panel between the fridge and hallway. Scope of work • Inspect the infill panel and confirm what is and is not structural. • Reduce the infill by about 50 mm (2 inches) toward the hallway to widen the fridge space. • Re‑support the overhead cupboard using suitable timber/ply packers or battens, securely fixed into studs/cupboard. • Patch any gaps, tidy edges and touch up paint where needed. Requirements • Qualified carpenter/cabinetmaker with experience in kitchen cabinetry and small wall modifications. • Must have own tools for precise cutting and fixing, and appropriate insurance. Budget and timing • Budget is flexible; happy to discuss fair pricing based on the job after a quick site visit. • Looking to have this completed sometime this week; timing is flexible.
