This task requires someone with experience in installing benchtops or a cabinetmaker and I am curious as to whether one person can do the minor plumbing (new sink, faucet and water filter), or if I need a separate plumber for this. I think this job is straightforward as everything is pre cut to size, it's more so cutting holes for cooktop and sink. It's really an assembly job and getting everything right. I imagine this is a fairly quick job for someone who knows what they are doing. Please provide quote, detail your experience, what elements of this task you are comfortable completing and your availability. You will obviously need power tools. Task breakdown: remove induction cooktop carefully (I believe this is plugged in under counter - no electrician required) remove sink and tap (to discard) remove existing laminate benchtop (to discard) install new laminate benchtop over existing cabinets which has been pre cut to size, join and seal professionally cut holes in new benchtop for cooktop (same location) and new sink, (same area, different location that requires some of the cabinet below to be cut out too) put the induction cooktop back in and seal with appropriate heat resistant seal insert and secure and seal new sink to new benchtop attach double water filter to cabinet under sink, connect plumbing with new faucet in new sink - I should have all parts for this but as the location of faucet is changing this should be investigated more thoroughly assemble 2 kaboodle cabinets (one is for bins - please set up, the other is microwave and drawer) and join together, secure to floor and wall to create small breakfast bar (I can assemble if needed) install pre cut laminate benchtop over breakfast bar cabinets, join and seal secure spare wall cabinet (pictured) above fridge in corner (screw into wall) cut one 900 slice through pine benchtop for laundry area

I have just purchased a property that requires 70 square meters of sanding and stain/water based polish across 5 rooms. Carpet and tiles would be removed pre-sanding. These stairs up to the verdandah at the back of our house have become rotten due to explosure to rain and sun. I would like them rebuilt or restored. Jobs is to build/fix and install. The width is 2.4m, height is 0.57 m and plank width is 27 cm. Given the water and sun exposure (faces north) wood likely needs to be hardwearing hardwood. I'm looking for a quality job.
