I need to fix Awning (looking for handy man) who have knowledge of Awnings.thanks.

Looking for a tradie (or experienced handyperson) to help us with a few tasks around the house that we need urgently done. We don’t expect “total completion” but as much help as possible and the knowledge/ability to advise on approaches to tasks would be good. We *mostly* know what to do – but a bit of extra support would be great. Tasks include: ⁃Helping to install a couple of window winders for our windows, for security reasons ⁃Advice/support with installing cat netting (connecting netting to eyelets and frame – eyelets drilled in, frame is not), and any advice/support for installing a raised panel/hinge to stop the cats from climbing over the fence). ⁃Help with placement of lattices/netting around our deck to stop the cats from escaping through underneath the house. ⁃Finishing the completion of an IKEA cupboard. We’d pay hourly. We don’t know how long all of it will take, but we expect between 2-6 hours of work. Ideally on Monday 16th Feb before 6pm - even if not everything is “completed” it would greatly help us to be “on the right track”. Note: listed price is just a PLACEHOLDER - willing to negotiate a good rate with the right person.

I have a small outdoor repair job: A painted timber beam at the front of my outdoor area has pulled slightly away from the timber behind it (likely from wind). it is still solid — it just needs to be pulled back into place and re-screwed using new holes. The metal bracket holding up a retractable awning has also come loose. The bracket is fine — it just needs to be re-positioned and re-fixed into solid timber. This is not a rebuild or replacement. No materials needed — just tools and fixings. Should be a quick job for someone handy with a drill and ladder. Photos attached.

Awning is the Temple & Webster algot aluminium awning. It is already assembled. It is light weight made of plastic and polycarbonate. Dimensions are 30.5 h x 200 w x 150 d (cm). It weighs 10.53kg. Exact product also sold at Bunnings. It requires holes to be drilled though plaster board inside the shed (at the back of a small storage mezzanine in the roof for washers to be installed onto bolts to provide extra stability. Requires an ability to cut small sections of steel sheeting to fit the arms onto the shed. Will require two people to install or I can help. Tools are your own. I will supply materials.

I have a 6m secondhand, motorised, retractable awning that I need fitted to the side of our home over the deck. The awning comes with specialised brackets that allow attachment to the roof. I'm looking for an experienced awning installer who can assess the structural components of the walls/roof to ensure the awning is safely mounted. Advice about placement of the electrical socket to power the unit is also required. If you are a qualified electrician, then even better. Ideally you will also have experience in the maintenance of motorised awnings and can advise me about the unit. Given the size of the unit I assume you will require a team of one or two extra workers to assist you.

Awning window won't close properly

Awning window not opening, it seems the top of the window is dislodged from the top of the frame. Looks like the window needs to be reseated. Window winder brand new, already replaced.
