I want to fit a 90cm stove. It should be possible if all 3 edges are trimmed from the benches. Cabinet is already loose from the wall and can be shifted to the right to make a wider stove gap. I am unsure how the edges are made good, is it just replacing the existing strip of laminate?

Patch hole in the wall caused by the removal of an old gas heater. The hole goes all the way through to the other side of the wall (outside). The gas heater was removed by a qualified plumber, and the gas line was properly shut.
