I would like to remove this piece of pipeline and have it plugged. Please see the piece of pipe on the external wall. Currently have a large double fitted in the kitchen. I want to get a smaller over and have the opening modified so it has an enclosure for a microwave and the smaller oven.

We have a new van and were unsuccessful connecting the gas pipe correctly to the LPG which caused a small fire. Every time we try to connect the pipe again after a couple of minutes a little explosion of gas and fire shoots out the side. I presume some of the fitting underneath are now damaged and probably need replacing (or not) We have lost confidence and just would like a professional to do it for peace of mind
