Electrolux ewf12763E E20 and washing machine wont drain, possible blocked pump filter, tried disconnecting hoses and draining that way but no good

Our Bosch series 6 washing machine is not draining towards the end of the cycle. We have identified there seems to be something stuck in the filter but need assistance fixing it. The cap at the front got broken trying to access to sort so it needs to be fixed. It was only purchased 4 years ago.
