I’ve had my washing machine delivered but it hasn’t been taken out of the box or installed I need a plumber/tradie to do this for me, i’m not sure if it will require 2 people as it’s an 8kg machine

Hi there, I have a Smeg integrated dishwasher with a door closing issue. The main problem is that the door latch catch/strike located at the top center (as shown in photo IMG_0854.jpg) is not latching properly. Because it won't hold the door tight on its own, the dishwasher sensor thinks the door is open. As shown in photo IMG_0853.jpg, we currently have to manually press and hold the door hard for the dishwasher to run. Scope of work: Inspect the top door latch catch mechanism and the integrated door alignment. Fix, tighten, or realign the door latch catch so it secures the door firmly without popping out. If the internal plastic catch or micro switch is completely broken, please advise if it needs replacement (I can pay for the part separately if you can source it, or please let me know the part number). Ensure the dishwasher can lock securely and run continuously on its own. I have a very old smeg dish washer (20+ y.o) that worked fine until recently. It is making a loud, high-pitched humming/buzzing noise, almost like a compressor running dry.

Stove top burner isn’t working. Doesn’t make a clicking sound when turning the knobs but gas works fine. Can be lit manually with a lighter.

My integrated dishwasher has come loose and tilts forward when the racks are pulled out. The mounting screws on both sides have torn out of the cabinet panels (looks like particleboard/MDF), so the side brackets are no longer holding. I need the dishwasher re-secured properly. Miele washing machine model from 2016. The internal plastic has become mouldy and I have bought the spare plastic which upon double checking with Miele, is compatible with my machine. Need someone is experienced with changing this over. Thanks
