I moved house recently and the removalists have unscrewed the hose that connects the washing machine to the tap. I can’t screw the hose to the back of the washing machine as it is too tight and has gotten stuck. It may need a tool to fix it

I was quoted $2,000 for this simple job by a large local company. Seeking a qualified independent tradesman to help me get the job done professionally, but without the price hike.
