Hi there, I need a licensed plumber and gas fitter to manage the plumbing and gas works for a kitchen and laundry renovation. We are moving to a fully integrated laundry and a modernized kitchen. Timeline: The project runs between September 23rd and September 30th. This requires two separate visits. Scope of Work: Visit 1: Rough-in (Around Sept 23rd-25th) Safely cap off the existing water pipes and gas connections. We are doing an integrated laundry. You will need to remove the existing wall-mounted washing machine points and redirect the plumbing so the washing machine connects directly from within the new laundry sink cabinet. Visit 2: Fit-off (Around Sept 28th-30th, after cabinets are in) Laundry: Install the new laundry unit, sink, and mixer tap. Kitchen: Reconnect the kitchen sink and gas cooktop. Install the new kitchen mixer tap. Rangehood: Install the new u under mount rangehood in the kitchen. Requirements: Must be a licensed plumber and gas fitter. Blanco gas cooktop (about 14 yrs old) Suspect it’s a faulty thermocouple. The main burner doesn’t stay lit when holding the knob down, or it takes a long time of holding down the knob for it to finally stay lit. All other burners working fine.

We have an Everdure 4-burner gas cooktop in our townhouse and the gas pressure/flame from the burners is currently very weak. The cooktop still lights and operates, but the flame output is much lower than it should be and cooking takes considerably longer. We own the townhouse and have access to the property's gas meter/regulator. Photos of the cooktop and gas meter are attached. Photo attached. Kitchen renovation needing the gas pipe cut back and capped. Will require some excavation of the brick wall (double brick with cavity) Then capping with 15mm bpress gas cap + testing the gas line with just a couple photos of holding pressure. Don't need the wall patched. I'm a plumber just in Melbourne and can't get to it in time for the cabinet maker. Would appreciate the help on this one. It's in Hilton an empty house.
