I have an internal painted door that previously had a hole in it. The hole was repaired using wood filler/wood dust, but the repair was not finished properly and the patched area is still visible. I’m looking for an experienced handyman/painter to professionally redo/finish the repair so that the surface is smooth, level and blends with the rest of the door as closely as possible, with no obvious patch marks. The existing repair may need to be sanded back, levelled/re-filled as required, primed and painted. I’m happy for the whole face of the door to be repainted if that will give a cleaner and more consistent finish, rather than just touching up the repaired area. Please include all materials, filler, primer and paint required in your offer. Photos attached showing the current condition. The main priority is the quality of the finish. I want the repaired area to be difficult to identify once completed. Please let me know whether you recommend repairing/refinishing the existing patch or another approach to achieve the best result.

It’s a rental with wooden floors, so no drilling or screws—adhesive options only. Need you to supply and install: Good quality rubber seals for the top and sides (like Raven RP48 rubber, please no cheap sponge foam as it leaks smells). A silicone multi-fin sweep for the bottom so it slides nicely over the timber floor.Just needs to be a nice, tight seal all the way around when the door shuts.
