I want to convert this into a standard hinged swinging door without removing any plaster or structural wall elements. The Scope of Work: 1. Seal Cavity: Push the existing sliding door into the cavity and "block off" the opening with a vertical timber DAR pine filler (approx. 35mm) to create a solid door jamb. 2. Anchor Door Hinge: The door will be hinged on the left-hand side (existing solid jamb). 3. Supply and install a standard internal hollow-core door slab (approx. 2040 x 820mm—verify measurements on site). 4. Hardware: Install 2x hinges and a standard passage lever set (handle). 5.Install door stops around the frame so the door has a rebate to close against.
