Hi, I need a handyman or carpenter to fix a water-damaged door frame and stop the shower leak that is causing it. The water is escaping through a gap in the frameless shower door hinge area, as shown in image. It pools on the tiles and has rotted the nearby door frame. The damage spans both sides of the wall: image shows the rotted base on the tiled bathroom side. image shows severe swelling/splitting on the carpeted corridor side. The job will involve: 1. Fixing the leak: Supplying and installing a clear PVC shower screen seal 10mm(gap/h-seal or splash guard) to fully close the gap shown in image so water stops escaping when the shower is on. 2. Repairing the frame: Cutting out and replacing the rotted sections of the door jamb and architraves/trim on both sides of the wall. 3. Materials: Please use water-resistant materials (like PVC trim or heavily primed timber) for the replacement woodwork so this doesn't happen again. Note: I can handle the final touch-up painting myself once the woodwork is dry and filled, but the structure needs to be solid and neatly finished. My garage roller door is making a loud squeaking noise every time it goes up and down. I need someone to come and lubricate the tracks and other moving parts to fix this issue. The door seems to be working fine otherwise, but the noise is very noticeable and I'd like to get it sorted. I have cans of WD-40, degreaser and lubricant, but I think it needs a more professional cleaning and lubrication to properly fix it.
