We are looking to replace existing timber glazing with some new French doors (size: 2030mmH, 1420mmW, 37mmD). The area is an extension to the existing house, so none of the wall framing is structural. We need to create the framing and infill solid wall either side of the new French doors. The French doors will open outwards and the bottom of the door stile will overlap a little lower with the internal finished floor level. We are hoping that the small amount of plasterboard can be patched internally but we will add any new cladding afterwards.
