Loft hatch door has fallen off. It's a bit of wood with carpet insulation on top, attached by 2 hinges one end and a lock to close at the opposite end. It has fallen off from the left hinge and been ripped off for safety. Hinges probably need replacing at the very least but maybe a new wood altogether so the lock will need to be refitted into the new wood. Unsure if the carpet for insulation can be replaced with something lighter to avoid trouble in the future. Images show original wood/door - one side with the lock and the other side with the carpet. Last image shows loft hatch doorless but with cardboard and plastic covering for temporary insulation.
