What do plasterer services include?
Your plasterer services include all the activities necessary to apply plaster on your walls and ceilings, apply different types of plaster, and repair existing plaster. Your hired plasterer can do the necessary planning and preparation before application. Plasterers can recommend different options for the task, advise the most suitable plastering materials, and use the appropriate materials, all while following the manufacturer’s recommendations, building codes, and the best practices in the construction industry. The plasterer service can involve different jobs, such as:
Ceiling Plastering
A plasterer can seal each portion between plasterboards with fibre tape or a similar protective material. They can mix the plaster to the right consistency, apply it to the ceiling and ensure complete and consistent coverage. Your Tasker can ensure the application complies with the manufacturer’s instructions, industry best practices, and any appropriate regulations.
Wall Plastering
Plasterers can prepare the site by placing a protective covering on the floor, furniture, light switches, and electrical sockets. You may hire someone to do the wiring before plastering or switch off the power before your Tasker starts work. Your wall plasterer can use the appropriate tools and techniques for wall plastering, and follow the instructions for drying and reapplying plaster coats until the job is finished.
Plaster Repair
Plasterers can inspect the site to assess the extent of damage to the structure. You may need to hire someone to inspect and repair areas close to or supporting the plaster before your plasterer starts work. You can also ask someone to check if the damage is due to leaky or busted pipes and fix those first. Your plasterer can prepare the appropriate amount of plaster for the repairs and do what is necessary to mimic the existing plaster. After repairs are complete, you may want to hire someone to apply fresh paint to the restored plaster and return it to its former glory.
Plaster Coving

Lime Plastering

Gutter seals at top of house, in 2 places, are leaking and need resealed/replaced. Will need high ladder, or access from roof. 2. Small internal plastering job - 1 small wall; 2 x movement cracks. 3. Ceiling had mould/damp and plaster was rotted and came off. A friend of a friend said they could fix it and plastered and painted a layer of paint, but there’s ridges and it’s not smooth at all. Need someone experienced to do what they can to smooth this patch out and re-plaster and paint if possible. Unsure of cost of this, so please send reasonable quotes. - Due date: Flexible

Cut some wood and plaster set pieces in half

There are four large set pieces inside a storage unit in the Big Yellow Self Storage in Bow that we need cutting in half so they can be disposed of. Two of the pieces are flat wooden pieces and the other two are wood and plaster and are more scenic, reminiscent of like a rocky surface. I can supply pictures of both if need be.
