Ceiling Plastering
A plasterer can seal each portion between plasterboards with fibre tape or a similar protective material. They can mix the plaster to the right consistency, apply it to the ceiling and ensure complete and consistent coverage. Your Tasker can ensure the application complies with the manufacturer’s instructions, industry best practices, and any appropriate regulations.Â
Wall Plastering
Plasterers can prepare the site by placing a protective covering on the floor, furniture, light switches, and electrical sockets. You may hire someone to do the wiring before plastering or switch off the power before your Tasker starts work. Your wall plasterer can use the appropriate tools and techniques for wall plastering, and follow the instructions for drying and reapplying plaster coats until the job is finished.Â
Plaster Repair
Plasterers can inspect the site to assess the extent of damage to the structure. You may need to hire someone to inspect and repair areas close to or supporting the plaster before your plasterer starts work. Renovate damp plaster wall behind toilet

I had a leak coming from the toilet cistern a few weeks ago. This caused damp to the wall and skirting board behind the toilet in the hallway. Since then I believe that I fixed the leak as no hissing water noise can be heard but the damage on wall and skirting board needs to be fixed. I need some ideas on what can you do to make it look like new for example replacing the skirting board and re-skim plaster and paint over it. Also would be good to check if leak has definitely stopped since you have plumbing experience. See pics of wall and skirting board.
