Amateur chef, cleaner & amazing PA near London!

Loani arrived on time and was immediately getting straight to her task. She was asking questions and taking notes to make sure she knew what was required and showed initiative and ability to solve problems on her own. Laoni is a very conscientious and considerate worker, I am happy to have her in our home.

What does a housekeeping service include?

Housekeeping services can include one-off services or regular domestic tasks (daily, weekly, or fortnightly), from cleaning and cooking to even home maintenance. Your housekeeper will bring along all the products and equipment they need to clean and maintain your home - all you need to do is tell them what you need done. Here’s how they can help:

The most common housekeeping service involves cleaning. This could include general cleaning, like vacuumingmoppingdusting, and bathroom cleaning. Or it might include detail cleaning tasks like couchcurtainfloorfridge, and . Depending on the number of tasks you’d like your housekeeper to complete, they may clean for just an hour, or up to the entire day. Your housekeeper will discuss a time that’s convenient for you, the tasks you need done, and the timeframe it should take to complete these tasks. If needed, they can bring their own cleaning supplies, like a vacuum cleaner and feather duster.

Organising and tidying

Many housekeepers offer professional organising services, where they help organise and tidy all areas of your home. This includes desks, filing cabinets, stationery, linen, wardrobes, toys, kitchen cupboards, garage interiors, and more. They’ll pull out all the items, organise them by category, and help you choose what you should keep, donate, or bin. They’ll also help by recommending suitable storage solutions to help you keep your home tidy for longer.

Some housekeepers are available to help with cooking in your home. They might prepare a few snacks, or help prep several meals ahead of time so you don’t have to worry about cooking. Your housekeeper will present menu and recipe options for you to choose from and use your ingredient and kitchen supplies to cook everything in your kitchen. Once they’re done, they’ll store the freshly cooked food (with heating instructions) and clean up any mess.

Washing and ironing starting to pile up? Housekeepers can help by putting on loads of washing, hanging clothes, loading the dryer, folding washing, ironing, and even putting it away. They’ll check the care labels to ensure appropriate washing/drying methods are used before they start the process. With some extra help, you’ll be all caught up on the laundry in no time.

Home maintenance

Many housekeepers are skilled in basic household maintenance tasks. But if they’re unable to do the job themselves, they’ll help organise and oversee skilled contractors who can help do repairs and maintenance in and around your home.

Maid/Cleaner for air bnb

Battersea, Greater London, SW11

30th Nov 2022

Hello This is for a trial run, due this Saturday at 11am - change x2 beds with fresh linen - put out fresh towels - quick clean around the house/tidy/empty bins etc - report to me on any damage etc If successful I will be interested in long term work on an adhoc basis. I have a 3 bed/ 3 story house that is used for air bnb and film/location photography. I currently have a cleaner who does the following but her time schedule can be very busy so I need someone on hand to come last minute on the odd occasion she is busy and fill her role. This job is to act as a host if I am away, to clean the whole house, wash and dry the sheets, towels etc and remake the beds with fresh linen, empty the bins and to generally make the house ready for the next guests. Also to include loading/unloading the dishwasher, wash the floors, mirrors, surfaces, clean out cupboards and drawers of dust. Generally clean the whole house (this takes 4 hours top to bottom). Sometimes the job will simply require you to do a quick bed change and supply fresh towels (1 hour) It’s also important to check the house for any damage and send photos to me via whatsapp. The garden may need watering, weeding but it is mostly faux plants so this will not be a big job, (30 mins top). If you are well versed in plumbing, electrical or DIY then that is great and these extra jobs that may pop up from time to time will be extra pay for you. On the odd occasion I might need you to greet the guests and give them keys, maybe buy some flowers or wine for their welcome. - Due date: Flexible - Due date: Needs to be done on Saturday, 3 December 2022

Lovely guy. Will use again.
