Looking for an experienced bathroom fitter/tiler to carry out some remedial and finishing work in a small bathroom. Main work required: • Remove the existing old wall tiles in the areas shown in the photos and dispose of them. This includes the walls around the bath/shower, and the tiled sections behind/around the basin and toilet. • Prepare the walls properly after tile removal and replace with simple clean white bathroom tiles. We are looking for decent, durable quality rather than expensive/premium tiles. • Grout the new wall tiling and properly silicone/seal around the bath and other wet-area junctions so everything is left watertight and neatly finished. • The existing tiled bathroom floor is staying underneath. Clean/prep and fill/re-grout/level the existing tile joints and any local uneven areas as necessary to provide a smooth, even surface suitable for laying vinyl/lino over it. • Lay the new lino/vinyl flooring. I already have the flooring material which we fitted downstairs. • Self-level the floor, remove existing bath mixer / shower fittings & install replacement bath taps/mixer & shower/showerhead. • Silicon / make good the areas worked on & leave bathroom clean and properly finished. The bath, basin and toilet (recent fittings) are all staying and do not need replacing. Please quote for itemised labour and materials for each part of the job. For the wall tiles, I am happy either to supply them myself or for you to supply suitable budget/mid-range plain white tiles, but please specify which your quote assumes. Please ensure your quote includes removal/disposal of the old tiles, wall preparation, adhesive, grout, silicone/sealant, trims and any waterproofing/tanking required in the bath/shower area. Photos show the current condition and the areas requiring work. Assuming a professional standard job completion, I may also have some additional small finishing/decorating jobs afterwards. Price given is for labour. Materials we can work out.

Hi, I’m looking for someone to repair/rebuild a low brick garden/front boundary wall that has partially collapsed. The main section is still standing, but one end/return has come away and several bricks and the top coping have been damaged. I’d like you to assess whether the sound section can be retained and just the damaged area rebuilt, rather than replacing the whole wall unnecessarily. Ideally the repair would include reusing the existing bricks where possible, replacing any damaged ones with a close match, properly tying the rebuilt section into the existing wall, and making good the top/coping and pointing. Please quote for the repair and, if you think it’s necessary, separately for rebuilding the full wall. I can send photos.

Looking for someone experienced in restoring solid wood kitchen worktops to sand back and refinish ours. We have two sections: Large kitchen island: approx. 206 × 90cm Main kitchen worktop: approx. 300 × 63cm, including the sink area The existing finish is very worn and the timber is absorbing water in places, particularly around the sink. There is uneven staining/discolouration, water marks and some burn/dark marks. We’d like both worktops properly sanded back to clean, even bare timber, with the staining and burn marks removed or reduced as much as reasonably possible without over-sanding. We’d then like them sealed with a durable, water-resistant matt finish suitable for kitchen worktops. We'd like to retain the natural oak colour and avoid a finish that makes the timber look overly yellow/orange or glossy. Looking specifically for someone with experience restoring wooden kitchen worktops. Hi, I’m looking to get some work done on my shower. The previous owner of the flat tiled over the existing tiles, and around the shower taps/faucets they’ve essentially tiled and sealed them into the wall rather than finishing the area properly. I don’t want the whole shower retiled as I actually really like the existing tiles, and I’ve managed to buy a matching set. I’d just like the area around the taps removed and redone properly using the matching tiles I have, and I’d also like the existing shower taps replaced with new ones.
