What does a car service include?
As a general rule, your car will likely need to be serviced every 6-12 months, depending on the manufacturer’s recommendations. The exact inclusions of your car service and mobile car service will vary depending on how much work is needed on your car. Some of the popular car services you can book on Airtasker include:
Oil and oil filter change
An oil and oil filter change will help your car run smoothly and increase fuel efficiency. It’s one of the most important parts of a service and should be included in both minor and major services. Your mechanic will find the oil drain plug, loosen and unscrew it, and carefully allow the old oil to drain into a pan. Then they’ll replace and tighten the plug before removing and replacing the filter. Finally, they’ll fill up with fresh oil up to the “full” mark on the dipstick.
Minor service
A minor service is also known as an interim or basic service. It focuses on changing and topping up fluids and inspecting a number of components for wear and tear. A minor service includes an oil and filter change; an under-body and under-bonnet inspection; a top-up of all key fluids in the engine, including washer fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze, and steering fluid; and a check of up to 35 key components, such as lights, tyres, and brakes. Most mechanics will also check the manufacturer guidelines and recommend any additional work your car may need.
Major service
A major service includes all the basic services described above, but will also include an inspection of an additional 15-30 car components to ensure that your vehicle is in the best condition possible. These components can include wheel bearings, shock absorbers, and the air conditioning system. Any parts that need extra work or replacement, such as car batteries or windscreens, will be billed as extra.

Head Unit is already installed, only need reverse camera installed. I had ordered an aftermarket android head unit that came with a reverse camera. I have already installed the unit but need someone to install and connect the reversing camera to it. There is a very small chance that the camera doesn't work when connected to the head unit, in that case we can reschedule the remaining work for a later date when I have obtained a working camera. Happy to pay a small additional callout charge in that case. Another possibility is that the included cable falls a little short to route to the back while making sure it is concealed. We might need to connect a small extension cable to it in that case. I would prefer someone who can source that cable extension if needed.

Description: need a qualified mobile auto electrician/ experienced mechanic to repair a cooling fan electrical issue. The Problem: The radiator fan does not spin when the engine gets hot or when the AC is turned on, causing the car to overheat in traffic. I tried replacing the relay with another used one, which did not work. The Key Clue: A mechanic recently poked a screwdriver into the wiring/relay area under the bonnet, and the fan started spinning perfectly on its own. This proves the fan motor itself is completely functional, but there is a loose connection, a corroded terminal, or a broken wire somewhere in that circuit that needs to be secured. Requirements: You must be an auto electrician or a highly experienced vehicle mechanic. Please bring everything necessary to diagnose and repair the loose connection and fix it.
