The grille works if I wire directly to the battery but if I wire as I think it should be from the side lights it won’t trigger on the ignition and when it does it flickers and only half illuminates, therefore, I must be connecting it incorrectly.

Need help replacing the main battery on a 2022 Mercedes-Benz V 300 AMG Line Diesel Auto. The battery is completely dead and not charging. It’s located under the front passenger seat, however the vehicle is parked very close to a wall inside a garage, so the passenger seat cannot currently be opened in the normal way. Looking for someone experienced with Mercedes vehicles who can safely access and replace the battery despite the restricted space.
