New freestanding dishwasher needs installing from scratch, there hasn’t been a dishwasher there before. The drain and water inlet are next to the where the new dishwasher will be but will need basic plumbing to connect them up. The cupboard shelves which are currently there will also need dismantling and removing too. This is to install a socket under the sink, and requires taking a spur from the ring main of existing kitchen sockets. The challenge is to find a point to spur from because it is a fitted kitchen. Also access may be awkward. There is a socket in the wall about 1m either side but the wall is tiled so a chase isn’t possible. The oven cabling is visible under the kitchen units. I don’t want any visible wires in the kitchen.
