I’m looking for a handyman to complete a few small flooring finishing jobs. • Replace the metal threshold strip between the hallway laminate and the entrance area. • Replace one section of edge trim/scotia along the living room wall where the laminate meets the skirting board. • Remove the existing entrance matting and install new coir matting in the recessed doorway area. The flooring itself is already installed — this job is mainly removing the old pieces and fitting the new trims/matting neatly so the edges are finished properly.

Need someone who can install a 20m2 room worth of flooring, literally only has to cut and lay the flooring as the underlay etc has been taken care of, the most important things are the cuts needed

We need someone to lay marmoleum (a type of lino) in our L-shaped kitchen. This will include preparation of the current floor (tiles) and finishing off once the flooring has been laid. We want to lay the new flooring over the tiles, rather than removing the tiles. We can move the fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwater to provide access underneath. The kitchen units are fitted, so you will need to work around them. I have included some pictures and a plan of the kitchen to help you decide whether this is a task that you can manage. Please ask any questions (I'll try to answer them!). You would be welcome to come and have a look. We will purchase everything needed (happy for you to provide a list).

The new floorboards shall be from Travis Perkins. There’s also a need to seek the gaps with filler and install new skirting board. The seal shall need to be perfect so that smells don’t come from the sub floor under the floor boards.
