I have a power recliner sofa where the left-hand side drops down when you sit on it, even without pressing the recline button. This appears to be a mechanical frame or scissor mechanism failure on the left side, not an electrical issue. The motor and switch still work. Sofa is around 8 years old and was recently moved, after which this issue started. I’m looking for someone experienced with sofa or recliner repairs to inspect and repair the frame/mechanism. Please quote including labour. Parts can be discussed after inspection.

The toilet flush keeps running after flushing. Water does not stop flowing into the bowl or tank. The cistern seems to fill continuously, wasting water. Tasks required: • Inspect the flush mechanism and cistern. • Identify and fix the cause (possible faulty fill valve, flush valve, or float). • Stop the water from running continuously. • Ensure toilet flush works normally after repair.

I want two ethernet socket connections fitted in upstairs bedrooms on second floor. Replace 2 leaking taps with new

Reposting as have been let down twice by the guy I had lined up to do the job… Back in February the upstairs flat had a leaky sink tap which caused some minor damage to our bathroom ceiling below. It’s now fully dry and in need of redecorating. Have attached a photo of the damage initially and now that it’s dry. The biggest patch is above the bathroom window and there is also a small patch on the ceiling above the door. Just need these small sections making good again. FYI this is what the previous contractor had intended to do: “scrape and sand watermarks, fill if necessary and then stainblock the whole ceiling and once dry give the ceiling another full coat of Dulux easy care bathroom paint in white.” If you’d like to take a look before quoting our tenants can be available most evenings after 5:30pm.
