We have just moved into a flat that needs a full refurb but would like a few jobs completed to make living a bit more comfortable in the short term. We have a washing machine but needs to be installed - both plumbing and electrics, hopefully under the sink (see pictures) the bathroom sink tap leaks which we would like fixing /replacing and we would like a temporary new shower fitting installed and a quick fix to make it leak proof where damage has been caused from an existing leak. Doesn’t need to be perfect jobs, just temporary fixes as will all be replaced when the full refurb starts

Washing Machine Repair – Hoover (11 years old) Hoover washing machine stopped working during spin cycle after a burning smell. Drum spins freely by hand but machine will no longer spin. Likely issue is worn motor carbon brushes or possibly a drive belt. Looking for someone experienced with Hoover machines to diagnose and repair (or advise if not economical to fix).

I’m seeking help for a blockage in a washing machine waste pipe (approx. 40 mm). Water leaks only when the machine discharges. The work required is to locate and mechanically clear any blockage, confirm pipe alignment and joints are sound, flush the pipework, and test during a full drain cycle.

The machine is an LG model. It keeps showing the OE message. I already cleaned the filter at the bottom of the machine as instructed. Despite that, the machine is still not draining any water and the OE message continues to appear.

Current connector to washing machine has a slow leak (as evidenced by the limescale on pipe on the picture). The valve needs replacement, the pipe needs clearing of limescale, and the dishwasher needs reconnecting.

I need my washing machine removed, and the new one installed

E10 error code. I’ve got this working again so many times checking for kinks, water pressure and the inlet but eventually the same code appears each time we try to dry the clothes and also when washing. Machine is a Zanussi Lindo 1000

Non-draining washing machine, error messages e03 and e20 (Baumatic, BWDI1485D). Could be a lot of build up (years). Took front cap off. Filter core is jammed. Washing machine is housed in an under sink unit. Could need handling underneath machine to detach drain pump. Need experienced domestic appliance engineer with good washing machine, Baumatic, knowledge.

I need an electrician to install a new wall-mounted power socket for a washing machine. There is currently an electrical cable on the ground that feeds the appliance. Please see photo. The cable needs to be properly terminated into a wall-mounted socket with its own breaker before the washing machine installers arrive. There is free parking with the building.
