Looking for an experienced roof tiler/roof restoration contractor to restore the tiled roof of a single-storey home. I am looking for a proper roof restoration rather than simply pressure cleaning and painting. * Identify cracked, broken, loose or badly deteriorated tiles and replace as required. * Inspect ridge caps, hips, bedding and pointing and repair/re-bed/re-point where required. * Pressure clean the complete roof, removing dirt, moss/lichen and loose/flaking existing coating. * Protect the pool, windows, walls, landscaping and surrounding surfaces from debris, overspray and roof-cleaning runoff. * Complete all repairs before coating begins. * Apply appropriate primer/sealer where required for the existing roof tile/coating. * Apply a quality roof coating system suitable for the existing tiles, including the manufacturer’s recommended number of coats. * Clean gutters and remove all waste/debris generated by the work. Please include in your offer: * Your experience specifically with tiled roof restoration. * Brand/product and coating system you propose to use, including primer/sealer and number of coats. * What warranty you provide for workmanship and the coating Please don’t quote for pressure washing and painting only. I want the underlying roof inspected and repaired properly first. We have spare tiles however all other equipment must be provided by you.

Looking for a plumber, roofer, or skilled handyman to tackle a combined drainage and roof repair package at my house in a single full-day booking. Task 1: Replace/Repair 4 terracotta stormwater drain points * Drains 1, 2 (Soft Ground): Dig down slightly (~20-30cm) in garden soil, cleanly cut back fractured/tilted clay pipes with a masonry grinder, and adapt to fresh 90mm PVC using flexible rubber couplings (Fernco/PlumbQwik) with clean finishing collars. * Drain 3,4 (In Concrete - See Photo): Two terracotta point is cast directly into a concrete path. It has an open, broken collar seal. Instead of digging this one up, I want the gap cleanly filled and sealed using heavy-duty hydraulic cement/structural mortar to redirect water smoothly into the line. * Materials for Task 1: Tasker to supply 3x rubber adapters, PVC sections, finishing collars, and a small tub of structural mortar/cement. Task 2: Diagnose and fix rainwater leak roof gutter * Scope: Find the source of rainwater tracking down the timber patio beams beneath the corrugated roof sheets (see attached photos). Fix it by replacing degraded roofing screws/washers, clearing debris, or applying clear exterior roofing silicone/flashing tape. * Materials for Task 2: Tasker to supply relevant roofing silicone/tape/screws. Requirements: Please state your experience with both roof leak repairs and terracotta transitions when making an offer. Please bring a ladder and a grinder for the clay pipes.

I've got few cracks on the roof and the concrete came off , the wooden particle under neath concrete needs to be replaced aswell.

I've got water damage appearing on the ceiling of a study/sunroom and need someone to find the source and fix it. The paint and plaster have blistered and lifted along a line across the ceiling, which looks like water tracking from a leak above. There's also a recessed downlight close to the damaged area, so there's a potential water-near-electrical concern to be mindful of. What I'm after: Inspect the roof and ceiling cavity to identify where the water is getting in Repair the leak itself (flashing, tiles/sheeting, seals — whatever the cause turns out to be) Let me know if the ceiling/plaster repair and repaint is something you can also do, or if I'll need a separate plasterer/painter Flag any electrical safety issue with the nearby downlight if relevant Photos of the ceiling damage are attached. I have an older cottage and in the severe rain a few weeks ago I had water ingress. I believe this to be from around where the screws fit tin to batons - I need roof checked and screws resealed. I dont have actual pictures of the roof as I am unable to climb up but front the pictures of the internal leaks I am able to pin point the approximate areas of the problem. Areas are in 2 bedrooms and kitchen - and these all line up across one section of the roof.
