Water leaking into the kitchen from a heavy storm a few weeks back – leaking from the door, and light switches. Possibly due to a sheet that has been installed on top of the roof incorrectly and is now also covering the downpipe, which has also been sealed. Looking for someone to clean out the leaves by hand and not with water (have had a previous company use water and it flooded the roof space). Gutters run along the back and side, on two stories. Re-roofing a portion of a small house (2-story) and sealing minor leaks around sky lights. Re-roofing: c. 3x6 metres

The existing top layer of roof sheets do not have screws at compliant spacings. Needs 4 to 6 rows of screws installed on each side of roof. Existing roof has a polycarbonate (old green) roof sheet below the existing sheets, and existing timber slat roofing below that (1850s). Will need to peel back existing roof sheets to find the fixing points to screw into. I am relying on experienced roofer to know the best methods for this. The roof is also quite steep, so roofer needs to be experienced in working safely on steep roofs and be insured. I am relying on experience of roofer for safe method of working. I do not have any scaffolding, ladders or safety equipment. Should be an easy job for an experienced roofer once the set out of roof screws is done.
