Hi folks. A job for someone with a tall ladder (unfortunately I don’t have one, thus the Task). As per the photos I’ve built a simple ‘catio’. The first element is to install 2 pieces of cladding at the top just under the roof line. I have the cladding cut to size and ready to go, and cement sheet screws for fixing. Then, install a short 5m of guttering (no downpipe needed - I’ll do that) - I have the gutter clips, screws, stopends, and running outlet, etc, ready to go. Final part of it is to put up two cafe blinds that will hang on the outside of the catio. These just attach with coach screws directly into the cross beam - that part is very quick to do. Gear you’ll need: - tall ladder 🪜 - impact driver - grinder, saw or snips for the guttering
