We are looking for someone experienced with roof repairs to inspect and fix a roof leak at our house. During rain, water appears to be entering around our wood stove and leaking through the ceiling near that area. The leak seems to come from around the penetration rather than through it, so it may be related to flashing, sealant, or waterproofing around the roof fitting. Scope of work: Inspect the roof area around the penetration to identify the source of the leak Repair or reseal flashing / waterproofing as needed Ensure the area is properly sealed to prevent future leaks The roof penetration is a metal pipe that goes through the roof. Roof access: The house is two storeys on the side where the leak is visible, but the roof is accessible from the opposite side which is single storey. Access should therefore be possible from that side, but appropriate roof safety equipment may still be required. Please bring appropriate tools and materials for a typical flashing/seal repair. During recent heavy storms some roof tiles have dislodged slightly. I require someone to climb on to the roof and push the tiles (6 or so) back into place. At the same time remove a small amount of debris from the roof valley.
