Our extendable mixer tap used to have a spray function and a stream function. Now the stream function has stopped working. Water leakage from Lv1 shower. Water drips can be seen from the ground floor ceiling. It could be pipe leak behind the wall or waterproof leak through the tiles on the floor. Need solution and quote. Inspection welcome on Saturday.

Our shower in the bathroom is apparently leaking somehow to the kitchen below. Ceiling was wet, we thought it was the roof and got it fixed. Each time we use the shower, it's now dripping through a small hole in the ceiling downstairs.

There's been a water leaking issue of my shower tap before; as such, we hired a plumber to change the washer inside; then it's been fine for a while; however, after a few weeks, it's started leaking again. Shower taps need the washers replaced to stop the leaking but I don't have the right tools. The washer nut is recessed into the wall.

The original water proof grouting between the tiles has come off in a couple of areas. This need to be fixed.

I need a reliable handyman to attend my home in Hunters Hill to complete several minor bathroom repairs: 1. Toilet seat: The rear right side of the toilet seat is loose. The seat has been clipped/removed, but the fixing mechanism isn’t obvious and needs to be properly tightened or repaired. 2. Soft-close cabinet hinges: The soft-close function on cabinet doors in the bathroom has stopped working. The hinges need to be inspected, adjusted or repaired/replaced as necessary. 3. Shower regrouting: There are some areas of grout in the shower that need minor repair/regrouting. 4. Vanity silicone: Some of the silicone around the vanity has come away and needs to be removed and replaced neatly. Photos of the toilet seat and hinges are available and can be provided to the Tasker. Please bring appropriate tools and materials and, where possible, complete all repairs during the one visit. Need an experienced plumber to clear a sewer line block. The line from the main toilet in the house to the sewer is blocked. The toilet bowl is full to the rim after two flushes and is slow to drain after flush. We need a plumber who can do jet blasting / camera to determine location of block and clear it. The distance from the inspection opening in the backyard to the toilet is approximately 20m. It is possible to access the uPVC drain pipe under the house (0.6m to 1m clearance). We would prefer to have this done without having to remove the toilet suite itself due to the risk of cracking it and having to replace the toilet suite. Please do not quote for air blasting as this has been tried and was not successful.The fee quoted is for solving the issue - i.e. removal of the blockage, not for the method you employ. If the method needs to change, we will not entertain requests for extra payments (e.g. use a camera etc). Please do not quote if you do not agree to this.

Need a plumber to clear a toilet blockage. It's not fully blocked, but several minutes to drain after each flush. There is also air bubbling through the toilet bowl whenever the bathroom sink/bathtub is used. All other toilets and sink/bathtub drains in the house seem to be working ok.

I have two bathrooms at home: Bathroom A (old part of the house), and Bathroom B (new part of the house). Bathroom A had always drained slowly. Issue started a week ago when Toilet A appeared blocked. It self rectified after a little while, but the problem has been reoccurring since. Air bubbles and loud gurgling can be noticed. Today, associated with the bathroom A blockage, very loud gurgling can be heard across all sinks, including kitchen, and shower areas in both A & B bathroom. Smell of sewerage can be detected in bathroom B accompanying the gurgling. The gurgling lasts a long time (more than 1 hour).

1. Remove and install a wall hung basin (photos attached). A new basin, mixer tap and bottle trap will provided for installation. You will need to remove and dispose the existing basin and install new basin,tap and bottle trap. 2. Fix the toilet flush as it makes whistling noise (photos attached). The toilet flush is working. However, it makes whistling noise during and after flush. Whistling noise would last for a minute till water tank is filled.
