I am having paving work done in my front courtyard and need a qualified plumber to temporarily disconnect and relocate our 270L heat-pump hot water system from the front courtyard to the back courtyard while the paving work is completed. The job will involve two visits: 1. Disconnect and relocate The hot water system will need to be disconnected, drained/emptied as required, and safely moved from the front courtyard to the back courtyard. This needs to be completed either Tuesday 6 October or the morning of Wednesday 7 October, before the paving work begins. 2. Move back and reconnect Once the paving is complete, the hot water system will need to be moved back to its original location and fully reconnected and tested. The paving contractor expects the work to be completed by Friday 9 October or Monday 12 October, so the exact return date can be coordinated once the paving is finished. Important: The finished paving level may be slightly different from the existing ground level. The plumber will therefore need to be able to modify/shorten/extend the existing copper pipework as required to suit the new installation height and reconnect the system correctly. The unit is approximately 270L, so please allow for its size and weight and any equipment/additional person required to move it safely. I require a licenced plumber to diagnose and fix issues with the hot water in the house. Even though the heater is set at the highest setting of 7, the water in the taps in the house is luke warm (around 30 degrees). Looks like the external valve need to be adjusted/replaced. The heater is a Dux Prodigy-storage tank gas heater (135 litres) that is about 3 years old - bought from and installed by Bunnings / Dux. Please quote for the labour costs to fix the issue.
