Fix Toilet Making Hissing/Sucking Noise I’m looking for someone with plumbing experience to diagnose and fix my toilet cistern. Issue: * The toilet makes a constant hissing noise after flushing. * Earlier it was making intermittent “sucking” noises. * The cistern fills normally and the water stops when the float is lifted manually. * The water level sits close to the overflow. * There is no water trickling into the toilet bowl, so it doesn’t appear to be leaking through the flush valve. * Moving the cistern/lid briefly stopped the noise, but it has returned. Our 2 toilets are blocked. I think the blockage is under the house as the kitchen sink and laundry tub seem to be OK. I'm not certain about that. I was unable to remove the clip under the tap handle to remove the tap. It seems to be fused. The hot tap clip can be removed easily.
