The project We are looking to replace our existing hollow internal doors with solid-core swing doors to improve acoustic performance. As a first step, we would like to complete one trial room to assess the workmanship, functionality and acoustic improvement before proceeding with the remaining rooms. We currently have six hollow sliding doors, and we’re exploring replacing them with solid core sliding doors to reduce sound travelling between consulting rooms. We may also require architraves and finishing work, depending on your recommendations. Before proceeding, we’d like the successful Airtasker to come and inspect the space, discuss the available options, and recommend the best solution. Once we’ve agreed on the most suitable approach, we’ll be looking for you to supply and install the doors and complete the work. I want to hang a 4m x 5m waterproof shade sail between a garage wall and 2 posts. I have purchased the shade sail, but need help installing the posts. I need 2 posts sunk and cemented in the ground next to the fence, and possibly hooks drilled into the garage wall. I will need you to help supply or pickup the posts and concrete and the equipment to dig the holes. It’s been recommended 75mm square galvanised posts, 2.5mm thick and cemented minimum 1m into the ground. I’ve found a supplier if you can pick them up in a ute or van. I can assist if needed. See the photo attached for what I’m describing and please ask any questions before applying. Note: this job was done before and the shade sail hung incorrectly and filled with water. The poles are too close to the garage and the sail couldn’t be pulled tight enough. If you can help cut the existing posts off at the base to remove them that would be great. Hi! I have 5 honeycomb blinds that need to be installed in the recess of two balcony windows (3 panels in one and 2 in the other). Blinds come with screws etc. However, please be prepared for masonry drilling (and wall plugs) but there may be a steel beam as support under the masonry so make sure you have a metal drill bit just in case :) I also have a makita impact driver if you need to use it but just lacking the drill bits. Standard height ceilings (240-250cm) but i have a small step ladder.
