Approximately 3.42m curtain rod at a mezzanine level (approx 4.5m high off the ground in my entry way) * Straight installation across a window. * One end needs to be fixed into the underside of a masonry beam. There appears to be a cement sheet underneath the beam, so the fixing will need to pass through the sheet and securely into the masonry behind it. * The other end is a plasterboard wall, with no obvious stud/beam behind it. * Appropriate heavy-duty fixings will be required for both surfaces. * The rod needs to be securely fixed and perfectly level. 2. Approximately 5.6m curtain rod * Standard installation into a plaster/plasterboard wall. * Due to the length, it will require appropriate support brackets positioned along the length of the rod. * The rod may need to be a suitable long-span system or joined, depending on what you recommend. * I would like a sturdy, good-quality solution suitable for regular use. I would like three brackets installed for a double curtain rod. I have all the parts. My wall is brick. There are three current brackets that need removing.

Install 3 curtain rod brackets above window-metal frame. We need 3 brackets installed for a curtain rod above the window. Curtain rod and brackets are supplied (photos provided show brackets & instructions from packaging). We attempted to install the brackets ourselves and found that there appears to be metal/aluminium behind the window frame, so we weren't able to drill through it with our standard drill bit. Looking for someone experienced who can assess the window/frame and use the appropriate fixings and tools to securely install the 3 brackets. Please bring your own tools and suitable fixings. Ideally looking for someone experienced with installing curtain rods around aluminium/metal window frames.

One of my curtain rod brackets has pulled out of the plasterboard wall (see attached photos). Looking for an experienced handyman to repair the damaged wall if needed and securely reinstall the bracket using appropriate anchors or by fixing into a stud if possible. Task 1 – Curtain Rod Middle Bracket Repair & Remount I have a black curtain rod in my home theatre room where the centre support bracket has pulled out of the drywall, taking some of the wall compound/paper with it. I need someone to fix this properly so it holds heavy blackout/theatre curtains securely. Photos of the damage are attached. What needs to be done: • Remove the loose/damaged bracket cleanly • Patch and repair the damaged drywall area so it’s smooth and paint-ready (ideally by cutting out the damaged section, backing it with a timber noggin behind the plaster, then patching, sanding, and finishing) • Remount the existing bracket using heavy-duty wall anchors (into a stud or with solid backing) • Ensure the curtain rod sits level and is strong enough to hold heavy theatre curtains without pulling out again I’m also open to a quick-fix option (preferred way) if it can be done cleanly and strongly: remove the damaged anchor screws, fill the old holes, and install new heavy-duty anchors in slightly repositioned locations — no full wall patch needed if the result is solid. Please let me know in your quote which approach you’d take. Task2 I also have a small chrome wall-mounted holder (photo attached) that has come off the wall. The mounting plate has two screw holes.
