Hi! I'm looking for someone handy to install a clean, proper curtain setup on one bedroom window. Current situation: - The old curtain is torn and hangs on two small black knob brackets screwed inside the window frame. It doesn't cover the window properly and lets light in on the sides. - There are a few old screw holes on the frame that could be filled/tidied up. What I already have: - New blackout curtain with a rod pocket (gathered top, taupe/grey) - Matte black curtain rod bracket(s) for a 25mm rod (Sandleford BFC25) What I'd like: - Rod mounted a bit higher and wider than the window frame (probably need to drill further out) so the curtain fully covers the window and blocks the light - Neat, straight, solid install - Remove the old brackets and patch the holes if possible You're welcome to bring your own materials if you think they'd work better: your own rod, brackets, curtains or anything else. Just include them in your offer. I don't have to use what I already have. I'm open to ideas! If you know a better or simpler way to get a clean result, please suggest it in your offer. Please bring your own drill, bits and wall plugs.

Looking for a reliable handyman to remove existing blinds and install 3 new curtain rods with curtains (including kitchen area, approx. 2m each). Scope of Work: Remove existing blinds: Unscrew and take down current blinds and brackets cleanly (I will dispose of old blinds). Install 3 curtain rods: Accurately measure, level, and securely mount brackets to plasterboard walls, hang the 3 curtain rods, and attach curtains. Supplied by me: 3x curtain rods, mounting brackets/hangers, and all curtains on-site and ready to go. Tasker to bring: Cordless drill, step ladder, spirit level, and measuring tape. Heavy-duty plasterboard fixings (e.g., WallMates, hollow-wall anchors, or toggle bolts) and a stud finder to ensure all brackets are securely anchored and will not sag or pull loose. Please confirm you have your own tools and suitable plasterboard fixings when submitting your offer.

Install 3 curtain rod brackets above window-metal frame. We need 3 brackets installed for a curtain rod above the window. Curtain rod and brackets are supplied (photos provided show brackets & instructions from packaging). We attempted to install the brackets ourselves and found that there appears to be metal/aluminium behind the window frame, so we weren't able to drill through it with our standard drill bit. Have high ceilings and require brackets installed (x3) for curtain rod to be hung. Looking for some help. Need to install a few (id say 5?!) curtain rods installed in the ceiling for an S type curtain, on a corner window. Ideally want them joining in the corner, and finishing a little after the outer side. They are purchased from Ikea, and one will need to be made smaller. I have all products needed to install. I am happy to install the sheer curtains myself. It is more the rods. Thank you
