ceiling fan and light stopped working after a "pop" made the electrical board switch off If it can be repaired that would be great. Otherwise I have a replacement one. Also, take a look at one of the other ceiling fans - the light cannot be turned off

A previous Airtasker did a poor job installing a ceiling fan. Instead of securing it properly, he placed a piece of wood and screwed it in, leaving it loose. There is a metal beam available, so the fan needs to be securely mounted to it using a proper bracket or support. The electrical connection is already in place—everything just needs to be connected to the control unit. The job is straightforward: securely mount the fan to the metal beam and complete the wiring. Task: Install a ceiling fan mounting bracket and wall switch • Supply and install a fan-rated mounting bracket between ceiling beams to support the existing ceiling fan. • Install a wall switch to operate the fan. • Ensure proper wiring and secure installation for safe operation. There is no cable or switch . It has to be run through the ceiling and down the chiprock wall . Should be easy . There is also no ceiling bracket . It would be good if you have one .
