I have a three story town house and currently need a ceiling fan in bedroom on third floor. My builder has made this suggestion instead of purchasing an additional air conditioning unit he has said that a ceiling fan can be easily installed by an electrician. Builder has confirmed that the rooms are suitably constructed for for fan installation Ideally I want a very quiet ceiling fan Send me through your quotes and any other info you need for labour as well as supply of the fan itself. Somewhat Urgent: After some wind damage last night, our outdoor ceiling fan in our alfresco area has dislodged from its batten fitting bracket. Unsure if there are any screws missing but it is hanging very loose and its casing has fallen along with it. Can confirm that the fan is still in working order but seeking an electrician to ensure it is properly and safely fit back into place. Our usual electrician is out of town and isn’t available, but has made an assessment at face value (see pictures). I have six 52inch ceiling fans without lights and need to replace their motors and receivers controllers. The steps are as follows: Remove the fan blades, motor, and receiver, then install the new motor and receiver and screw on the fan blades. The ceiling bracket does not need to be reinstalled.
