Looking for a handyman available soon to realign and fix back gate. It is a small colourbond gate that closes. The end of the frame was screwed into a brick wall but one of the bolts snapped off. New hole in brick wall was required that I didn’t put at the right height and made a bit of a mess of so the latch won’t close. I have run out of time and don’t have the right tools for the drop before I head away tomorrow and need the gate to lock. A quick handyman job if you’ve got a drill. Have new plugs and bolts. Extra points if you’ve got some extra time and are available to rescrew my garden shed door so that it also closes. (Can raise price of job if required).

Looking for someone handy to do a very basic, low-cost repair to an old timber boundary fence and remove the pile of branches/garden waste shown in the photos. My budget is genuinely quite small, so I am not looking for a new fence, professional restoration or anything cosmetically perfect. I just need someone to: * Push/straighten the existing fence back roughly into position. * Secure it so it isn’t leaning into the neighbour’s property. * Close up the larger gaps so my young kids can’t get through. * Screw/nail existing timber back together where possible. * Patch any obvious gaps with old/recycled palings or inexpensive timber if needed. * Remove the pile of dead branches and garden waste. * Leave the area reasonably tidy. Please reuse as much of the existing fence as possible. Second-hand/recycled timber is completely fine. I don’t care what it looks like as long as it is reasonably secure and safe. Hi. We need to get 2 swing style garden gates fixed to make them close properly again. I've attached photos. The screws holding the latch on one of the gates have come out so need bigger metal screws to re-attach the latch securely. The other gate I think just needs readjustment so that the latch clicks into place properly. Thanks, Wes

We need someone to come and measure two areas for dog gates. Area 1: pantry (will likely require a tall and narrow gate). Our dog can jump high gates, so the taller the better here. Area 2: outdoor dog gate from garden to deck entrance. Once again, need it to be tall, but might be limited by height due to size of stairs to connect it to. We will need someone to come and inspect the areas, to measure them, and then go to purchase gates (we will provide the cash for this as a separate payment not included in the job task). Description I need a handyman to fix the alignment of the latch on outdoor gate. As shown in the photos, the latch and catch are currently not lining up correctly. I would like a small wooden piece/block added behind the catch/keeper to raise it and bring it into the correct position and alignment with the sliding latch. The existing latch can be reused if possible. The main requirement is to: * Add a suitable wooden piece behind the catch. * Raise and reposition the catch so it lines up with the sliding bolt. * Secure the wooden piece and catch firmly. * Make sure the latch slides in and out smoothly and holds the gate securely when closed. I require a valid invoice to be issued immediately upon completion of the job Please bring suitable timber and tools to complete the job.

Looking for someone to install a Sureguard Pingg-String cat containment system on the timber paling fence at my property in Augustine Heights. Total fence perimeter is approximately 58 metres. All components have been purchased and will be provided on the day. This includes insulated cable, extension kits, end post kits and energiser included. The job involves mounting bracket arms and insulators along the top of the fence, running and tensioning the wire angled inward toward the yard and rigging the gate loop over the single gate. The energiser position will need to be assessed and decided on the day based on what works best for the setup. It needs to be installed in a north-facing position with access to full sun. There is one fold-down clothesline mounted to the fence that will need the wire routed carefully around it with extra insulators either side to avoid contact with the metal frame. No drilling into structures required as all fixing is into timber palings. Happy to be home on the day to show you around the property before you start.

One Colorbond fence panel has come loose and is leaning after a storm (see photo). Remove existing sqaure panel fence and install a colourbond fence kit from Oxworks. I am happy to remove existing fence on the day if easier. 2 x 2400mm wide x 1800mm high sections which fill in between Linestone pillars. Can secure into Linestone Wall so no digging required.

Post has come away from concrete footing , needs digging out and a new footing and post installed
