I have purchased a hoselock hose reel for my front garden and realise that the best placement involves a wooden post being concreted into the garden bed and then the reel being attached to that. So, dig a hole big enough to hold the weight, shove in a post, concrete it in and attach the hose reel. I could do it, but i don't have a post, i don't have the cement and my wife says I am hopeless with power tools. Which is fair. (the reel weighs 9.5kg apparently) and I guess it will need to be approx 75cm-1m off the ground). A bit top heavy

I have an old rotten garden fence post that needs removing then a replacement of the same size to be installed. The fence and gate are collapsing because of this rotting corner post. The new post will need concreting in and aligning.

Hi there, We have just rendered and painted our external wall and had to remove our garden gate in the process. We have restored the gate and now want to reinstall. The brackets are very old so we may need to buy new hardware and a lockable latch. We are away and have Airbnb guests coming Sunday. We would love for you to go and look at the gate to see what hardware is needed, then go to Bunnings to purchase, the come back to install. We will of course pay for the required hardware. I’m looking for someone to make a fenced area in my backyard as a secure dog run. I’m thinking simple metal fencing held up with metal stakes, designed so our dog can come in/out of the garage into this secured space as the property fencing isn’t secure. See photos for an example and then my backyard space.

The rental we are in has mesh (wire) laid over a gap near the fence around the perimeter of the house (approx 8- 10 metres to secure). It is not secured down along the outer edge and is starting to curl up and lift in places. The wire is very sharp and dangerous for our dogs and it looks unfinished/messy. We are not sure what the best option would be so open to suggestions - we were thinking maybe some raised planter boxes (example pic as last one) to cover or some treated timber edging that matches the fence.

We are looking to block our dog from accessing carpeted areas of the house. We need two timber dog gates which would be hinged from a wall and latched on the other side to a timber stair case post. The two openings are approx 860 wide and 915 wide. The gates would be shorter than the stair handrail. I'd estimate we need them approx 800mm high. p.s. we have tried the adjustable aluminium baby gates before and they damaged the wall. We're looking for something longer lasting, better looking and more integrated with the stair balustrade.

The wall is 6m 40cm long, and the gateway is 94cm wide. I’m open to suggestions about what materials to use and will provide all materials. Not sure about how long the job will take, so also negotiable on price to pay for your labour - but prefer quotes for firm price rather than hourly.

I need someone to go and take a look at a dog trailer that's sitting in my friends driveway to see what needs to be repaired on it so that it can be towed back to my place in Campbelltown. Colourbond fence requires fixing in certain areas due to being pushed out because of tree trunks. Trees have been cut now. There are some panels that will require to be fixed to straighten the fence.
