The indoor unit stopped turning on completely (no lights, no response to remote) after previous electrical work was done at the property a few months ago. At that time an electrician connected a new hot water system and mentioned the meter/switchboard load would need an upgrade. After that job, the bedroom heater/aircon unit no longer works. What I need from you: • Inspect the switchboard/meter and confirm whether the bedroom split system circuit was disconnected, repurposed, or isolated. • Check the outdoor A/C isolator and confirm if the unit is actually getting power. • Restore power to the split system safely if it’s just a simple reconnection. • If it’s more than a quick reconnection (e.g. needs a new dedicated circuit run from the board), give me a written quote for that work and, if required, a quote for any board/meter upgrade. Important notes: • Property has existing solar, electric hot water, and existing split system in the master bedroom). • The A/C unit itself was working before this electrical work.
