I’ve just had new windows installed and I’m needing roughly 4-6 windows caulked - Due date: Before Thursday, 31 August 2023

I am seeking someone knowledgeable and experienced to help me upgrade my DELL Laptop Model XPS 13 9380 Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621 current HD to a 500GB SSD. I have consulted with Umart and there are only two SSD options available the larger being www.umart.com.au/product/crucial-p3-plus-500gb-m-2-pcie-ssd-64929 (Supplied by me) ced to help me change my original HD to a SSD (supplied by me). I don't believe it is possible to upgrade the current 8GB RAM as it is soldered onto the motherboard but if you could investigate to confirm if an upgrade is possible that is something I would consider and adjust the price accordingly. The OS has been upgraded to Windows 11 and if this can be reinstalled. My Office 365 subscription still has a few months before requiring re-payment, if this could be re-instated along with adobe professional suite. I have a family member in Caulfield North. Their computer has failed due to a bad hard disk. I'm computer-literate and would fix it myself but I am in Sydney. Therefore, I'd like your help in getting the computer working again. BACKGROUND: It's an old Windows computer but it has been working well. It started operating slowly (apps not opening, Windows being unresponsive). After a reboot it went into the "disk repair" mode and hasn't started since. To me, it sounds like corruption on the disk or a faulty hard disk. There isn't much information on the computer -- it is mostly used for email and web browsing. I normally connect remotely to help with any computer problems. Under my direction, they have purchased a new 512GB SSD drive. (I hope the computer has SATA connectors!) THE TASK: Replace the existing hard disk with the new SSD drive and load Windows 10. Setup remote access (eg Anydesk). I can then remotely configure the system. Not sure if Windows will recognise the computer for licensing purposes, so I'll buy a Windows license later if necessary -- no need to buy a retail Windows license for the moment. You are welcome to take the computer and do the install at your own location, or to perform the work at their house. You'll need to reconnect the monitors, sound devices, printer, webcam, etc. The end-goal is a computer that boots up with a fresh install of Windows on a new disk, with remote access so I can do the rest of the work. Leave the old disk there because we might need to recover files in future. TO GET THE JOB: Tell me how you will go about installing the hard disk and installing Windows. Network adapter disabled then something happens with security so it reset and now loads to log in screen but won’t accept pin as there is no network connection. Need to somehow command prompt to turn on network adapter so I can log into my Microsoft account. That’s as best I can describe but please let me know if you have any questions or need more info.
