We need someone to fix our Dell Inspiron 2350 or tell us if it's not worth it and get a new set up. Our Dell is running extremely slowly on start up, and can be very slow yo switch between programs. The wifi adaptor has also inexplicably and randomly started dropping out, such that we have to use an ethernet cable to connect to the internet. Runs on Windows 10 which constantly has problems with upgrading, so we don't seem to be able to get the most recent updates. Windows Support has been most unhelpful. - Due date: Flexible

I have a large screen Mac about 6 years old. Once my time-machine was full, my computer seems to have slowed down (it hasn't backed up for six months), sometimes taking twenty minutes to work from being turned on. The computer has only used half of its memory space. Sometimes the whirling beachball twirls for a few seconds in the middle of doing a task.

I have a large property with my house and offices about 50m to 100m apart. My network was pretty good, now it has slowed done in one office. I have managed switches but no optic fibre between switches. Speedtest is 110+mbs and 4+ upload, ping around 8ms. But internet access is slow on one machine (Xeon Workstation). Need some expert to fix.

Hi There, I need a new laptop however I lost my job in covid so I need to make do with my current laptop. It's hobbies include 'not responding' and sometimes being stubborn and holding me hostage. I type faster than the computer can input the words so sometimes I like to type a sentence and then sit back and pretend a ghost is typing on my laptop. It's old, held together by duct tape but I need it to just let me finish my online study and then when I have a job again I will buy a new one. I really don't want to hear 'you need a new laptop as I know' If there are any kind IT people that know how to give an old laptop a kick up the ass and won't charge an arm and a leg I would really appreciate your help. I have 3 laptops (Apple) that will need some work done. It’s still in good working order but isn’t working at its maximum capacity. What I would like help to: - remove the virus (you provide the software) - speed up the laptop - free up some storage - transfer data & file into a hard drive with organised folders - install Microsoft Office (provided by you) - update to latest IOS You will need to come to Earlwood and do this on site.
