I have an NBN connection at home and Optus is my internet service provider. Signal is coming up to the NBN point inside the garage. wi-fi modem works fine when it's directly connected to the NBN box in the garage, but when wi-fi modem connected to the data point in the living room or upstairs, it doesn't work. Apparently, there is a loose connection in the data cable running from garage to living room and upstairs data points. This need to be checked and fixed.

My Asus DSL-AX82U router has dipped into recovery/rescue mode, apparently it needs to have the latest firmware installed in order to get it working again. I went and bought a USB-C/ethernet adapter to connect to the MacBook Pro, I’ve downloaded the firmware but I’m unable to install it onto the router.

I need to help to install failover switch/router (eg Teltonika router). Currently we are using Telstra broadband but I want to add another backup 4G/5G wireless broadband. We want to use wireless broadband as backup (automatically switches if Telstra fails). We use self serve kiosks and light speed POS for ordering at the restaurant.

Power outage this morning made internet cut out. The modem isn’t connect to the opticomm. I’ve been advised that we need to do a modem reconfiguration with an Ethernet cable. I’d potentially need someone available between 5-8pm today to come out to Berwick to do it. Exetel has sent instructions

Transferring from original Telstra router to new Flint 2 router. Have tried but can’t unplug original router without internet going off.

I’ve recently upgraded my home network equipment and need an experienced IT/network technician to configure everything properly. The system was previously working fine on an old modem/router installed by electricians. I have now replaced this with a new router (TP-Link Omada ER605) and added a 16-port switch, but I cannot get everything working correctly. Current setup includes: Bosch 3000 alarm system 6 x Dorani security cameras 2 x long-range WiFi access points ~10+ Ethernet data points throughout the house NBN connection (1000 Mbps) Issues: Cameras/apps no longer accessible remotely Router not configured correctly (likely DHCP / IP / port forwarding issues) Network worked previously, so this is a reconfiguration rather than new install What I need done: Proper setup/configuration of new router (WAN, DHCP, etc.) Configure static IPs for cameras and alarm Restore remote access to camera system Connect and configure 16-port switch Tidy and organise cabling Cabinet / rack: I have not yet purchased a wall cabinet I would like advice on the best cabinet/rack for this setup Ideally you can recommend (or supply) a suitable option Cabinet installation can be done same visit (if available) or as a follow-up Requirements: Must have experience with home/business networks (not just basic cabling) Familiar with routers, switches, IP addressing, port forwarding Experience with CCTV/security systems preferred Please outline your experience with similar jobs when applying.

I have the modem & router, I’ve called my internet service and it says it’s activated however I still don’t have internet… and my router box keeps going in & out. Am flexible with the date, just want it done asap

I’ve been having issues with slow connection speeds on my WiFi for some time, but recently it’s completely stopped working. As has the wired connection to my TV, which was previously working at a high speed. I have a new modem to try out, I’d like someone with more IT expertise than me to help sort it out. Available during the day on the 19th or 21st of December

Help, I have issue with laptop & phone not connecting to router. I have nighthawk / netgear33 mesh set up. Blue lights are on but nothing is connecting. The technician who set it up is not available to assist & I need help today.
