I have a wardrobe and chest in an entryway alcove that I need a wood frame and basic panelling built around to make them flush with the surrounding wall. Four years ago I got the bright idea to grind the interior floors of my apartment myself. The results were.. mixed The slab was ground down to expose the aggrigate and several coats of a clear self-levelling epoxy were applied. As you can see in the images, there are grinding marks in some places, with the kitchen where I first started, being the worst location. The floor is also uneven to a degree, the self levelling epoxy did not eliminate this and many of the edges of the rooms are slightly higher than the centre. How much of an issue this is, im not sure. I am looking for a professional who would be able to provide a solution, preferably several options to choose from, to improve the appearance of the floor. This would include quoting for an entire apartment refinish/refurbishment of floors to section based refinishing for the kitchen and/or hallway areas. I have included some images as well as the floor plan of the apartment with the flooring present in all rooms minus the bathroom and toilet. Replace the hinges and latches on a 2-door vanity cabinet beneath the bathroom sink. All replacement hardware (hinges, latches, screws) is fully supplied. Remove four existing flush-mount cabinet hinges (two per door) and fit new ones. Remove two existing double ball latches (top and bottom strike plates & catches) and install new replacements. Make sure the doors are properly aligned, swing freely, and catch securely. Access under the sink is straightforward; photos attached show the current hardware and cabinet layout.

Carpenter Required – Replace Damaged/Rotten Door Architrave & Timber Trim Task Description We require an experienced carpenter/handyman to repair and replace damaged timber architrave/trim around an internal doorway. Sections of the existing timber have deteriorated, particularly around the bottom corners and along the lower/side sections of the door frame. Please refer to the attached photos and measurements. Scope of works: * Remove the damaged/rotted sections of existing timber architrave/trim. * Supply and install replacement timber of a matching or closest available profile and dimensions. * Check the surrounding timber to ensure all deteriorated material is removed. * Cut and join replacement sections neatly into the existing architrave. * Fill nail holes, gaps and joins. * Sand and prepare repaired areas. * Caulk where required for a clean finish. * Prime and paint the new/repaired timber white to match the existing finish. * Remove and dispose of all damaged timber and waste. * Leave the work area clean and tidy. The attached photographs include measurements of the affected areas; however, the successful Tasker should confirm all dimensions on site before purchasing/cutting materials. We are looking for a neat, professional repair rather than a temporary patch.

Timber courtyard door at an apartment in Richmond has become tight and is sticking/rubbing against the frame, particularly around the latch side. It takes more force than it should to open and close and can make quite a bit of noise when closing. Looking for someone to inspect and adjust the door so it opens and closes smoothly. It may need to be planed/shaved slightly and the exposed timber resealed, or otherwise adjusted as appropriate. Ideally looking to have this done fairly soon as the apartment is about to be made available for a long-term tenant.

1 mirrored bathroom cabinet to be installed

Two floorboards are damaged and need replaced. The replacement boards don't need to perfectly match (this is coming ahead of a later renovation), but a close stain would be great.

Help, my bathroom cabinet has fallen off and is in need of desperate repair.

We are adding carpet to 3 bedrooms and we need someone to shave the bottom of 12 doors (3 bedrooms and 9 wardrobe doors). The doors have been removed and labeled. We need the doors cut onsite which can be done outside or in our garage and then rehung the same day. The house is in Essendon.

A kitchen cabinet door - perspex - about 114cm high (so a bit heavy and bulky) needs to be rehung on 3 existing hinges - we have the fixing screws. The cabinet is above a benchtop. There are two other kitchen cabinet doors where the hinges need adjusting and another hinge on a laundry cupboard that needs to be re-clipped.

I wish to fit a robo vacuum under kitchen sink cabinet. This would require cutting the existing shelves and giving support.

I need a clean circular hole cut into the side of this steel cupboard. I cut a rough hole in it myself to feed the washine machine hose through, but I need a cleaner hole cut in before I move out. The laundry cupboard has one of those slim stainless-steel laundry troughs with a storage cabinet underneath, next to the washing machine. The washing machine will be moved out of the apartment on Friday 7 Aug so I'd like someone to come on Saturday 8 Aug.

Definitely a job geared towards a cabinetmaker. Will need to cut out for a range hold, rail for finger pull, kick boards to be cut to size and scribed to the floor. The oven carcass will also need work with the rail.
