My two dogs have pushed on the door over the past few years and finally broken the clip on the doggie door, so now it does not click in so will not lock and because you can't set it to open it will sometimes lock by itself. I have taped it open so they don't get locked in or out. Not sure if it can be replaced or repaired. Not sure of the cost either
