The RCD labelled “Protected Power” (C20, 30mA) trips the instant I switch it on, so all power points are dead. Lighting circuit is fine. Cause is known: insecticide spray went into one power point and the tripping started immediately after. The RCD has been off since and I haven’t touched the outlet. What I need: the affected outlet inspected and replaced, and the circuit tested.

Mount folding table to drywall I need someone to securely attach a folding table/unit to a drywall wall. The table is already assembled and has a base that sits on the floor, so the wall screws will not be carrying the weight of the table. They are mainly there to secure the top of the unit to the wall and prevent it from tipping forward. There are 4 pre-drilled screw holes along the top rear section of the table. The main complication is the skirting board at the bottom of the wall. Because of the skirting, the back of the table cannot sit flush against the drywall. I have therefore bought two boards/spacers the same thickness as the skirting board to sit behind the table and fill the gap. The job would involve: - Positioning the two spacer boards behind the table - Drilling through the existing 4 mounting holes, through the spacer board and into the drywall - Using suitable drywall anchors/fixings to securely hold the unit against the wall - Making sure everything is straight, secure and neatly installed Please see the attached photos, which should make the setup much clearer. Please bring the appropriate screws, drywall anchors/fixings and tools required for the job.

Hi, I’ve managed to mount an LED light using an extension lead form existing PowerPoint to keep my garage door opener running, but I think installing a power point would look less messy. Could do it myself, but it would void the warranty & my insurance 😅, hence, need a licensed electrician to carry out the installation. A external mount is fine; no need to chase the wall. I want someone to install a built in for one bedroom

I need two power points replaced in my unit. One is in the kitchen, where I accidentally broke the mounting plate/holder while unplugging a toaster. See first two photos. The second is an outdoor power point with a loose plastic housing, so I would like the entire unit replaced. See last photo. I will purchase the replacement power points from Bunnings, so I only require installation. There is no urgency, and I am flexible with timing. Could you please provide me with a quote for the work? I have a 90 inch TV and I want to install a full motion bracket to hold the weight. I thought a timber board from bunnings 1800mm x 600-900mm x 26-33mm and screw the board onto the 3 metal beams. It would be a flush finish so would need a router with a 40mm wide bit. Also would need to be plastered over again since it is dry wall. I am open to other ideas as well?

Need to repair damage done to part of a gyprock wall

I would like an experienced carpenter/builder to rebuild the lower section of a gyprock wall (laundry) where moisture has caused the timber bottom plate and bottom of studs to rot & crumble away. In 2-5 years, I would like to rebuild this entire room (as understand the issue is bigger than this one wall!), but for now, would simply like the wall made structurally sound and rotten material replaced with moisture-resistant alternatives to buy me some time before I plan a bigger renovation. Will need to make the studs structurally sound (add something to support them at the bottom as no longer touching concrete base), add new bottom plate (something moisture-resistant please), and replace the missing gyprock & door framing. I've removed lots of the damaged materials so you can clearly see the issue!
