Hi, I’ve managed to mount an LED light using an extension lead form existing PowerPoint to keep my garage door opener running, but I think installing a power point would look less messy. Could do it myself, but it would void the warranty & my insurance 😅, hence, need a licensed electrician to carry out the installation. A external mount is fine; no need to chase the wall.
